It takes about 20-30 minutes to the house from Kyoto station by both, subway or taxi. The nearest subway station is Higashiyama station (東山駅). It is a 5-minute walk from the house. The nearest bus stop is called Jingu-michi (神宮道) which is a 3 minute walk from the house.
